The small cutter that snips the line is made of metal whereas other manufacturers’ use plastic. The fact ours is made of metal means it can be sharpened – essential for professional use. Our unique safety guard makes it simple to swap the nylon head for a sturdy three-tooth blade which is ideal for tackling thick bushes.

But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean you need to buy an additional guard, as the lower part is easily removed and reattached after changing the head. For use with UMC425 and UMC435 engine units.
