Translucent boxes make these kits ideal for use in highly visible locations where an attractive and eye catching appearance can enhance and emphasise the provision of first aid equipment. Kit Contents: Under The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, the HSE have issued official guidance for employers on managing the provision of first aid in the workplace. The HSE Guidance on Regulations(publication L74) applies to all employers and provides guidance on managing first aid (kit types, equipment and facilities), first aid personnel (cover levels, training and appointed persons) and first aid awareness across the workplace.

Whilst The HSE issue a basic list of items recommended for workplace kits, it is stipulated that the kit contents and the equipment available must be ‘adequate and appropriate in the circumstances’. Each employer is responsible for performing ongoing detailed risk assessments to ensure that the first aid provision remains appropriate to the workplace concerned.
