The ICY BOX 3640SU3 offers ample storage, as it can operate up to four hard drives of any size simultaneously. The robust aluminum housing not only looks stylish but also efficiently dissipates the heat generated inside. A temperature-controlled fan helps to ensure quiet and effective air exchange.

Installing the hard drives in the IB-3640SU3 is quick and easy, requiring no tools. Thanks to HotSwap, the used storage devices can even be quickly exchanged while in operation. Environmental considerations are also taken into account: the ICY BOX features a sleep mode that reduces power consumption to a minimum.

It supports all common Windows versions from XP as well as MAC OS X. Connectivity is available via fast USB 3.0, allowing transfer rates of up to 5 GBit per second, or eSATA. The hard drives are then available as individual drives (JBOD = "Just a bunch of disks").
