It can be connected to DAWs, hardware synthesizers or modular systems via USB-C, MIDI or CV. The 61 backlit keys are velocity-sensitive and respond to horizontal and vertical movements as well as pressure, enabling an expressive playing style. The layout arranges notes in a way that makes harmonic chords and scales particularly intuitive to play.

The C major scale is included as standard, other scales can be selected via the menu. The illuminated keys show the playable notes, which makes improvisation easier. A capacitive slider with six zones allows you to control the arpeggiator, whose speed and pattern can be adjusted via the menu.

Four clickable encoders with LED feedback provide access to transposition, scale selection, brightness and other parameters. The keyboard supports MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE) for individual control of the axes per key as well as polyphonic aftertouch. The Exquis also features a CV interface with separate gate, pitch and modulation outputs for integration into modular setups.

The accompanying app expands the functions of the keyboard with additional control and configuration options. The intuitive user interface allows you to customize scales, keys and arpeggiator patterns as well as set individual MIDI parameters. The app also allows you to save and manage presets, making it easy to quickly switch between different setups.

Thanks to regular updates, the software is always up to date and offers new features to optimize the workflow.
