The History of rounders starts in Great Britain and Ireland during the reign of the Tudors. The game centres on innings where teams of up to nine on each side take alternate turns in batting and fielding. Points (or 'Rounders') are scored by the batting team by completing a circuit around the field through four bases/posts, without being put 'out'.

The Jaques' Family Rounders set features solid wooden posts for setting out the rounders court. It also features a beautiful rounders bat with a Jaques' patented corrigrip. The set also comes complete with a Jaques' safeplay rounders ball and full instructions.
