It uses the ultralightweight shell of the standard EVOlite , reinforced with a lightweight yet strong EPS liner to give added side protection, as is required by EN12492. A four-point chin strap with a quick-release buckle ensures the helmet stays firmly on the wearer's head. The chin strap conforms to EN 12492, meaning it takes more than 500 newtons of force to break.

The force required does, however, mean that the helmet's chin strap is not compliant with EN397; with this in mind, if you intend to wear your helmet at ground level, you should consider a helmet with a dualswitch harness. A micro-peak makes upward visibility easy without tilting the neck back too far.
