Its new Responsive Hammer Lite (RHL) keyboard action features fully graded keys, helping beginners build hand strength and improve technique. Drawing on technologies from Kawai’s CN201 and CN301 models, the ES60 provides superb playability, control, and reduced mechanical noise, making it ideal for practice without disturbing others. The ES60 delivers the rich, expressive sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano, powered by Kawai’s Harmonic Imaging technology for smooth, dynamic transitions from soft to loud notes.

Alongside acoustic piano tones, it also includes electric pianos, organs, strings, and more, making it versatile for both home practice and stage performances. The 20W stereo speaker system, equipped with the same drivers as the ES120, offers impressive volume with clarity and depth, directing sound toward the player for an immersive experience. Weighing just 11 kg, the ES60 is ultra-portable, perfect for moving around the home or taking from lessons to performances.

It includes standard 1/4" stereo Line Out connectors for recording or external amplification and a convenient front headphone jack for private practice. Its USB-MIDI port enables connectivity with computers and smart devices, supporting various learning apps like Skoove, Tomplay, and Kawai’s PiaBookPlayer. With simple panel controls and the option to connect with the PianoRemote app for iOS and Android, the ES60 is easy to use and adaptable to different learning preferences.
