The trap has 2 openings, 1 on either end. These doors remain open to encourage mice to enter the trap. Once they are inside, the mechanism prevents them from escaping by closing the door every time they try to exit the trap.

To most effectively lure the mice into the trap, place some bait (cheese, fruit, peanuts or similar) inside the centre of the trap. The mice can then be released from the trap when needed by opening the primary lid of the trap. This trap can be used indoors or outdoors and can catch up to 10 rodents before it reaches capacity (depending on their size).
