Much of the aesthetic innovation comes from the 1986 Countach Evoluzione prototype, the world's first carbon-fibre supercar. The air box and air intakes were redesigned and enlarged and assembled from mini skirts, and the geometry of the suspension was modified. The improved aerodynamics allowed a top speed of 300 km / h.

This was the last version of the Countach, which remained in production until 1990, when it was replaced by the Diablo.
