You can use an Arca-Swiss quick release plate to mount your camera on this versatile head. This can also be done with an Arca-Swiss compatible lens foot or an L-bracket. With the MPG-1, the camera is positioned sideways on the monopod.

This has the advantage that you can hold the monopod firmly with one hand and operate your camera comfortably with the other. The Leofoto MPG-1 Monopod head can pan 360° and tilt smoothly. You can lock the angle of rotation with the large grey knob.

It is possible to mount the tripod head directly on a Leofoto monopod by using the 3/8-inch screw hole at the bottom of the head. Alternatively, the Arca-Swiss compatible foot allows you to combine it with, for example, a 360° panning clamp for extra flexibility. The MPG-1 head is made of hard lightweight aluminium, which makes this sturdy head weigh 325 grams.
