With the potential to work with both mono and stereo sound sources, the Mackie MDB-1A Active DI Box lets you connect any instrument to a balanced destination with ease. A single 1/4'' unbalanced input, 1/4'' Thru output, and balanced XLR output form the basis of the box. Whilst a Merge switch lets you convert the Thru output into another input in seconds.

The stereo signal is then summed to mono at the XLR output. Premium analog circuitry and high-performance components allow you to enjoy outstanding performance from a compact and easy-to-use device. A switchable -20dB pad lets you combat distortion when connecting higher level sound sources, whilst being powered via 48V phantom power prevents the need for an external PSU.
