The H13 HEPA filter is used in addition to the included pre-filter, so you get two-stage air purification. The HEPA filter helps remove mold spores, pollen, dust, pet dander, dust mites and more from the air. This is a so-called True HEPA filter (filter class H13), which means it meets strict international standards and captures 99.97% of particles with a size of 0.3 micrometers (μm) or more in diameter.

This makes it the most effective filter you can currently use in a dehumidifier. The Meaco Arete One 10L Dehumidifier has a mode specifically for air purification that can be used during months when the indoor air does not need to be dried. Likewise, during dehumidification, the air is purified.
