Thanks to six gripping points, it offers the best fit possible. The recessed corners allow torque to be transfers from the flats of the socket instead of added stress to the points or corners. For your convenience and for easy cataloguing, the socket has a laser etched marking to make it simple to identify what you have.

Thanks to the unique design of the socket and being part of the SHOCKWAVE range, it includes SHOCK ZONE geometry which allow the socket to flex without breaking. This technology controls the pressure that develops at the head of the socket. This, along with the design of the impact zone as well as the special heat treatment the socket received in manufacturing, these make them more resistant to impact damage.
