Mirka's 80 x 230 mm Handy hand sanding block is a durable, lightweight dust extraction sanding block that only weighs 250g. It's ideal for wall and ceiling sanding on large flat surfaces, because it reduces fatigue, and the risk of tilting during use.

The Handy block incorporates an easy to access 20mm hose connection, with an adjustable suction valve to allow for optimised dust extraction and air flow. This allows the tool move easily over the surface. The Handy Block's hook n loop backing plate features 55 holes precisely placed to ensure effective dust removal, and the velcro grip fastening system means there’s no time consuming clamps to deal with.

The sanding block includes a soft-feel handle, suitable for either a one or two handed grip. Use the block with Mirka's 20mm dust extraction hose that is fitted with a universal conical adaptor that allows it to mate with many vacuum extraction machines. You should also consider buying an interface pad to match the sanding block.
