This is due to the PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) or Nylon (Polyamide PA) housing.

The MK K9733BLU is an angled, surface-mounting appliance inlet from the Commando range of IP44 rated wiring devices, complete with a blue finish. This 32A appliance inlet has a 2P+E pole configuration and is suitable for top conduit (M25) or rear cable entry. A blanking plug is also supplied.
