The machine is operated using foot pedals and levers and is suited for both large and thin tyres. When it comes to releasing wheels from rims, this machine is a proven powerhouse. The tyre changing machine comes equipped with everything you need to release and replace a tyre.

First, you will use a lever to release the tyre from the rim with a bead breaker force of 2,500 kilograms. The working space for the bead breaker is equipped with a protective rubber guard. Then the tyre is placed on the mounting plate.

The column can be tilted forward or backward in order to better position the fitting arm for work with differently-sized rims, a real advantage when working with thin wheels. The machine is also equipped with two adjustable assist arms which hold the rim from above and below to ensure stability when the tyre is being released. The mounting plate has a self-centring 4-jaw system with additional plastic protective covers.

The clamping jaws are fitted for rims with an external diameter of 11 to 21 inches and an internal diameter of 10 to 18 inches on the 54 x 54 centimetre mounting plate. Place the fitting head between the tyre and the rim. Its shape increases the leverage placed on the tyre when the mounting plate is rotated with a torque of 1,100 Nm.

You can control the clamping of the tyre and rotation of the mounting plate using foot pedals, allowing you to work with both hands free. Depending how you position the fitting head, you can use it to both release old tyres and install new ones. Make sure to deflate the tyre before using the machine to release it from the rim.

The newly-installed tyre must then be reinflated before it can be used. You can do the inflating as soon as the replacement is complete, thanks to the device's integrated air pressure gauge.
