The 3 DIN module rail mounted type 2 surge device is for the protection of 600V DC inputs of invertors.

It also has the patented SCI function for safe electrical isolation and preventing fire due to DC arcs. This device meets prEN 50539-11. It needs to be installed near to the invertor inputs or in combiner boxes.
