The flesh is usually a light grey colour and translucent, resembling jelly. The green coconuts are harvested when they are young whilst the coconut water is still crisp and refreshing and the coconut flesh is still thin and soft. It has a large amount of coconut water and a small layer of jelly-like coconut meat.

The coconut water in jelly nuts is crisp with a slight sweetness - perfect healthy hydration. Our green coconuts are either from Costa Rica, or from farms in St Lucia (The farms in St Lucia follow organic farming practices, however these farms do not hold organic certification). The green coconuts from Costa Rica travel by sea however the green coconuts from St Lucia travel by air.
