The board is a combination of soft pink glass and veneer, both parts are magnetic, (for use only with super-strong magnets) You can write on the glass with liquid chalk markers, (or on the white glass with an ordinary whiteboard marker).

When the text is dry, it can be easily erased again, using an eraser or a damp cloth. The veneer section is made of natural material, and there will therefore be natural variations in surface texture and colour. The surface is affected by light, and will change texture and colour over time.
