This loaf tin is suitable for use on all types of hobs, grills, ovens and open flames. Each tin comes pre-seasoned with flax oil for a natural non-stick finish, making it easy to remove the bread from the tin. The rounded, raised edges make this tin comfortable and easy to carry.

How to care for the loaf tins Spun black iron tins are loved by professional bakers for their consistent cooking results, ease of use and withstanding high temperatures. Each tin is spun by hand, making this an extra special piece of bakeware. This also means the bases aren’t completely flat.

If you want to keep it as flat as possible, be sure to never submerge the tin into cold water as this will cause the tin to warp. Iron bakeware can withstand extremely high temperatures and is a pure, simple metal which is easy to care for. Hand wash only, dry thoroughly after washing.

If you need to scrub, use a plastic bristle brush in hot soapy water, but avoid anything harsher. Avoid detergents completely. Size This loaf tin measures 2lb (1kg) Internal dimensions: 23cm long x 14cm wide x 8cm high.

External dimensions: 28cm long x 16cm wide x 8.2cm high. About Netherton Foundry The Netherton Foundry is a family company based in Shropshire – home of the 18th and 19th century ironmasters. Their pans are made from 99.1% pure iron and they use locally sourced materials wherever possible – the oak that makes the pan handles is British, and the flax seasoning oil comes from Sussex.

Experienced local craftsmen use traditional manufacturing methods to bring you high quality cookware that gets better over time.
