The i400 is about the size of three monobatteries and can be conveniently carried around even when mounted on the camera. Measuring just 85 x 61 x 85 mm, the flash offers a guide number of 40 at ISO 100 f/8 and 35 mm and reliably illuminates a distance of five meters. With the TTL, automatic and manual modes, powerful and flexible flash metering is achieved.

For TTL flash metering, the camera sensor determines the amount of light required and adjusts the light output accordingly so that the subject is correctly exposed. You can easily operate the flash unit: After sliding it on and selecting the Auto mode, you are ready to go. The manual setting options can be selected using the two setting wheels.

The pan and tilt flash head allows both portrait and landscape photography. The rotation from 0 to 180 degrees ensures that subjects can be illuminated from different angles. The integrated reflector and wide-angle diffuser can be easily pulled out or folded out to allow scattered-flash photography and indirect flash.
