NS Design CR5M Upright Bass

The NS Design CR-5M 5-String Electric Double Bass was designed by Ned Steinberger and made in the Czech Republic which has a long-held reputation for the highest-quality upright basses. The 5 string bass features a solid rock maple neck and body with a flamed maple face.

The neck has a traditional profile and is fitted with a Macassar ebony fingerboard. Electronics are state of the art. An active 18V hum-canceling preamp with volume, bass EQ, and treble EQ controls is wired to both a Polar bridge-mounted piezo and an EMG magnetic pickup.

The electric upright bass guitar comes with a foldable chromeplated tripod stand, a padded NS Design Cordura bag for the bass, and an interior bag for the tripod stand.
