Perfect to cinch in the waist on a dress, kimono or yukata robe My Looby Lou obi belts are inspired by the Japanese obi but I have adapted them for the modern wearer! They are easy and comfortable to wear. They can really give an outfit that extra wow factor and individual twist. The front panel is pleated into the ties.

This gives the obi belt a unique shape, creating small folds that make it easy to wear whilst being versatile. It is great for cinching in the waist! The ties can be tied at the back or can be wrapped around and tied at the front. There are so many ways to wear this belt - have fun with it! The decorative front panel is a Japanese cotton fabric.

The seigaiha or wave is a traditional Japanese pattern of arches, symbolic of waves or water representing surges of good luck. A black polycotton fabric has been used to line and edge the front panel. The ties are also made from the same black fabric.
