Recipe recommendation: Madeira cake Stir 250 g butter with 200 g sugar and 1 packet vanilla sugar. Separate 4 eggs into yolks and whites. Add the egg yolks to the butter mixture and continue to stir.

Mix 300 g wheat flour type 405 with 100 g cornflour and 1 sachet pure tartar baking powder and stir into the egg yolk mixture alternately with 125 ml milk. Finally, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour the batter into a greased, floured cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C (fan-assisted oven) for approx.

60 minutes.
