Like the Dolive Shad, its body is made from two materials of different densities. The lower section has a higher salt concentration than the upper section, which makes the lower section heavier and gives it greater stability on the descent. When weightless, it stays perfectly in line without flipping over, even at sea.

Its body is split under the belly and on the back to accommodate a Texas hook. When weightless, it can be worked with regular twitching and will then behave like a softjerkbait swimming like a walking dog. When worked more aggressively it will produce darts.

When drop shot, its ultra-sensitive tail comes to life at the slightest vibration, perfectly reproducing the attitude of a livebait. On a TP, it's great for fishing as soon as it descends as it spirals; on a straight line, it stays horizontal producing a pronounced rolling action. It also works vertically on very wary fish that only respond to minimalist action.
