For optimized performance, the Base V3 features the versatile V2 Fins. These fins, available in two sizes (45mm and 35mm), allow riders to select the optimal level of grip and control.

The 45mm fins maximize grip during edge control and takeoffs while the 35mm fins grant enhanced freestyle maneuverability and carving freedom. The fins themselves are precision injection molded from advanced glass-filled nylon material for exceptional strength and exceptional wear resistance. The use of high quality A-grade 316 Stainless Steel inserts embedded into ABS blocks ensures superior strength when riding powerfully or using boots.

These straps, crafted with Ultralon Performance Foam and plush neoprene, offer unparalleled comfort and precision control while providing an excellent anatomical fit. The Ultralon foam’s exceptional resistance to packing out ensures continued comfort and shape retention over time.

Quick and easy velcro adjustments guarantee a secure fit for all foot shapes and sizes, even when using wetsuit booties. The footpads themselves are engineered with multi-density foam for superior comfort, adaptable nine strap positions and five stance angle options provide an incredibly customized fit. The shock-absorbing base layer paired with a higher density top layer with precise contouring and texturing for improved traction ensure your feet remain locked and secure, even during intense sessions.

The design evolution from the Base V2 to the V3 introduced a transformative double concave bottom shape that complements the single concave, drastically improving handling, especially in choppy water. This updated shape allows for a higher ride on the water, making it easier to maintain control regardless of conditions. To further refine the performance, the outline taper in the tips has been refined to drastically minimize spray during use in less-than-ideal conditions.
