The original 2002 line became legendary, creating a rich heritage of jazz, rock, fusion and country. In more recent years, the 2002 line has been expanded to accommodate changing music trends. With the introduction of the new Dimensions line, the expansion 2002 cymbals become sonically obsolete and have been discontinued.

The original, classic 2002 cymbals however, will remain in Paiste's lineup, representing the classic cymbal sound of the 60's and 70's, of which several current music trends are extensively rooted. Bright, warm, full, shimmering. Wide range, clean mix.
