The versatile zoom ranges from super wide-angle to classic reportage focal lengths. Both photos and videos benefit equally from its high imaging performance across the entire focal length range. 12 lens elements in 9 groups, including 3 aspherical lenses, an ED lens (Extra-Low Dispersion) and a UHR lens (Ultra-High Refractive Index) ensure high MTF performance despite its compact size and low weight.

The Lens with 9 aperture blades for a uniformly round aperture has low vignetting and a consistently high resolution right into the corners of the image as well as a beautiful bokeh without double lines.
