It is equipped with the exceptionally versatile Lumix DC Vario 60x zoom, corresponding to 20mm super wide-angle up to 1200mm super telephoto (at KB), and thus enables dynamic landscape shots as well as format-filling images of animals or birds from far away.

The 18-megapixel MOS sensor and the Venus Engine image processor ensure fast response times and high-quality images. The high-precision autofocus with DFD technology also contributes to this. The FZ82D enables fast continuous shooting at 10 fps (AFS) or 6 fps (AFC) with reliable focussing even on fast-moving subjects.

It also supports 4K video and slow motion recording.
