It has two sensors for the measurement, one for generic measurements in Gauss and Militesla, and another precision sensor to measure in a range of Milligauss and Microtesla.

It has a serial interface to connect to a computer and record the measurement values on an SD card. The radiometer can store up to 99 measurements at the press of a key and the data is saved in Excel format. This provides great ease of use.

The radiometer also features an automatic shut-off to save energy and can be powered by 6 x 1.5V AA batteries or via a 9V adapter. This makes it ideal for use in laboratories and internal quality control. Manufactured by PCE with reference PCE-MFM 4000.
