Equipped with Petzl's Leverlock Universal binding system, the Sarkens can be used as automatic or semi-automatic crampons with B2 or B3 rated boots by changing between the two toe bails included. Anti-balling plates prevent snow build-up underfoot to keep you moving. Petzl’s AlpenAdapt technology lets you adapt the crampon for different climbing disciplines and mountain terrains.

You can replace all the crampon's components - sold separately - including the front and rear sections and bails with other models. Swap a front section to better suit glacier travel, the binding to fit your new mountaineering boots, or the rear section to save weight. Petzl’s unique system increases your product’s lifetime and versatility.
