Ensure the surface and cracks are free from any loose material.

Prime nails and screw heads with a suitable metal primer or oil-based paint. Rub down gloss surfaces with fine grit sandpaper ApplicationAlways follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tub. Stir well to a smooth consistency.

Apply using a filling tool such as a filling knife, trowel, or float. Apply in sweeping strokes. Gentle smooth off with a clean, wet tool, cleaning the tool between strokes.

Prior to being fully dry, once the surface is firm, re-wet, and polish with a clean tool for a smooth finish. Allow at least 24 hours to dry and sand smooth if necessary.
