It is ideally suited for use in time-lapse production by using its "timer program" function to automatically trigger the camera at regular set intervals.

The intervalometer allows the user to achieve long exposures on the bulb setting; perfect for astro, night and light painting. Time delay can be programmed to automatically trigger a shot after a preset time. It can also be used as a simple remote control to ensure blur-free results by reducing the camera at slower exposures.
