The thickness has been carefully chosen to maximise comfort and stickiness, without losing control and feeling to the strings. The under-side of the grip has a super-sticky self-adhesive tape for ultra-firm attachment. Remove your old grip and replace for this one for the ultimate control, but it can also be applied over the top of an existing grip if you prefer a chunkier feel.
