Do not fill the casting slip completely under the rim. After hardening, hold the mould under cold running water if necessary and tap it carefully onto a firm surface. The finished star can be sanded to remove sharp, uneven edges.

Craft colours, markers or leaf metal can give the star that certain something and turn it into a stylish winter decoration. Combined with other cast motifs, decorative snow, scatter pieces and a string of lights, the window sill, chest of drawers, tray and co. can be excellently decorated.
