The set comprises of a pen sized soldering iron body which is filled with butane gas via a small refill valve. A range of supplied accessories including hot air/soldering attachment, standard tip, anvil tip, and needle tip can be attached to carry out a range of tasks including, soldering electrical wires and circuit boards, removing or drying paint, and forming plastic. The hot air attachment can be used to shrink fitting, and softening or removing adhesive.

The heat output is adjusted via a sliding regulator and there is a fold down stand which enables the operator to rest the hot iron with an elevated tip when not in use or while cooling. The set is supplied with a 10g roll of 1mm lead free with flux core electronic solder and a tip cleaning sponge all contained in a handy storage box.
