Royal Albert's Old Country Roses collection The Old Country Roses collection from Royal Albert was designed by Harold Holdcroft and was introduced in 1962. The flamboyant design made from fine bone china is inspired by the colors of fragrant roses and a typical English garden. Harold used both hard and soft colors for this romantic dinnerware and elegantly finished it with a finely painted edge of 22 carat gold.
