Sound absorption panels made of polyurethane foam. These sound absorbing and insulating panels feature various filling materials and outer linings. The materials provide excellent sound absorbing and sound insulating properties, while the chemical resistant outer cladding protects against dust and moisture.

They can be used as a mat or cut to the desired shape and size. The self-adhesive backing allows for easy attachment to machinery and equipment. Filling materials include polyurethane foam (density 25/28 kg/m³) which absorbs sound over a wide frequency range, making it a good basic solution for all reflected and reverberant sounds.

It is suitable as a support foam for interior balancing and as a mounting surface. Typical applications include control panels in engine rooms and close-fitting hoods. Incombustible polyurethane foam (density 75 kg/m³) is designed for use in high-risk areas.

Polyester fiber (density 30 kg/m³) offers excellent sound absorption combined with good thermal insulation. The outer linings consist of aluminized film, a metallized polyester sole that serves as an oxygen and moisture barrier, suitable for applications like pump housings and machinery spaces. Black polyurethane film provides high abrasion resistance, flexibility, and resistance to oils, gases, and solvents, along with good resistance to weathering, radiation energy, and liquids.

The protective film on the reverse side prevents dust and dirt from penetrating elastomers or foams. Tedlar is a flexible, chemical-, solvent-, and aging-resistant polyvinyl fluoride facing material that withstands a temperature range from -73°C to +107°C, making it suitable for particularly hostile conditions.
