Where safety and efficiency are paramount, these net abrasives will reduce exposure to the most dangerous, harmful sanding dust or toxic paint residues.

The discs are suitable for use on a range of materials from hardwoods, softwoods and exotic woods to primers, paints and lacquers, composites and non-ferrous metals. Aluminium Oxide Abrasive The durable aluminium oxide abrasive coating dulls slowly, delivering a high cut rate, excellent hardness and low heat retention. A strong resin-over-resin bond between the abrasive and backing allows the discs to last up to four times longer than standard abrasives.

The polyester fibre net backing is coated in a ‘semi-open’ manner, with only the topmost fibres of the net coated with grit. The inner structure and the back of the net remain free of grit, allowing maximum dust removal rates and a dust-free work environment. Non-Stick Coating A special stearate coating acts as a dry lubricant, providing non-stick properties to both prevent adhesion and clogging, and to reduce friction between the abrasive disc and work surface.

This reduced friction leads to lower heat generation and a better, more regular overall finish throughout the life of the abrasive. As less is heat generated, the dust is also less electrostatically charged, making it looser and more easily removable by dust extractors. With no dust accumulating between the abrasive grains, you can expect more even finishes and less scratches on softer, more delicate surfaces.

Available in 80, 120, 180, 240, 320, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 grits, these sanding discs are ideal for initial coarse sanding right up to fine finishing, and all discs have hook and loop type fastening and can be attached and re-attached as many times as necessary.
