This brass brush made with the quality of the Saphir brand helps you bring back the original beauty of your suede. Its polished beechwood is ergonomically designed to ensure a good hand grip and a very precise brush stroke. The nylon bristles on the perimeter are for gentle cleaning while the brass bristles at the centre are for deeper cleaning.

The more flexible nylon bristles fluff up the suede's fibres, giving them a matte finish, while the brass bristles are much stiffer for more intense cleaning. You can this brush on all suede that has become flat and dirty, darkened, or shiny. A simple light brushing will engage the nylon bristles and bring back a uniform, silky look to your suede.

To remove an encrusted stain, press harder on your brush to engage the brass bristles. The two types of bristles have been placed together on the brush to allow you greater control and more precision in determining the intensity of cleaning needed for your suede. Remember however that the brass bristles are used for very intense cleaning and tend to smoothen out the suede's fibres.

It is therefore recommended that you avoid frequent use of the brass bristles. Contrary to popular belief, excessive smoothening of the suede's fibres does not make the suede more fragile, but only reduces its beauty. The brass brush by Saphir can be cleaned with warm soapy water.
