PLEASE NOTE: The bump caps do not provide protection against the effects of falling or thrown objects or moving suspended loads.

They should not be used instead of an industrial safety helmet as specified in EN 397. Bump Caps can be worn when there is a need to protect against accidental bumping of the head.
