Equipped with a movable lumisphere, the L-308X is capable of measuring both ambient light and reflected light through a lens with a reception angle of 40°.

This light meter also has a wide measurement range of 0 to 19.9 EV at ISO 100 and can work with flash light in a range from f/1.0 to f/90.9 at ISO 100. Repeatability is also important in measurement, which the L-308X delivers with a value of <0.1 EV in repeated exposures. Last year, Sekonic introduced the groundbreaking flagship light meter, the Speedmaster L-858D.
