The group offers a broad spectrum of drivetrain range options, and supports the latest trail and recreational bikes with bigger tyres, wider hub flange spacing, or both. The new and improved Shimano SLX M7100 has been redesigned from the ground up, and is built to perform in any situation. Cassettes come with the MICRO SPLINE fitting system, and are available in 10-45(513g) or 10-51(534g).

Both cassettes feature HYPERGLIDE+, allowing for quick up and down shifts and extremely quiet drive train. An aluminium spider houses 11 steel sprockets and 1 aluminium sprocket to optimise durability and weight.
