The upper part of the thick base is divided into three panels, each painted with a simple floral design. The hardware on the front of the chest is new, but similar to the lost original lock plate.

The chest's generous proportions provide a huge amount of storage space for clothes, bedding or other items - ideal for getting on top of the clutter!
