Simond offers a new half rope with a diameter of 7.5 mm for intense ice climbing and complex winter ascents. The Ice 7.5 has been revised to achieve a better balance between strength and fluidity. The rope features a water-repellent UIAA-DRY treatment (impregnation of both the sheath and core) for use in contact with snow and ice.
