Of the original 65,000 Wurlitzer 1015s sold, only around 6,000 remain in the market and would now cost over £10,000 to buy. It has been imitated before, however, Sound Leisure has lovingly created its own 'SL15' the old fashioned way... The Sound Leisure SL15 Digital is lovingly created to retain all that was loved about the original design.

Handcrafted from a one-piece wooden cabinet, adorned with real chrome castings and lit by an ever-changing light display enhanced by dancing bubbles. Just one jukebox takes 45 man-hours to produce by the team of dedicated craftsmen and women. The digital version of the SL15 takes all the styling of the original jukebox and brings them into the 21st century.

Touchscreen operation, LED lighting, a 300w MK7 amplifier with auto-fade microphone facility, auxiliary inputs/outputs, a photo frame feature displaying photos and images on the touchscreen and a pub quiz mode all come together to bring this jukebox up to date without compromising the classic style. The re-engineered cabinet has been updated to include a bespoke 6-way speaker system that when married to the 4 Channel digital Amplifier, produces a thunderous sound. In addition to the latest PC technology and stunning sound, the lighting has been updated to include the ‘Diamond Pack’ LED lighting system.

Specially designed in-house at Sound Leisure this system is low heat, low watt and super bright for maximum effect.The popular ‘Date Search’ facility allows you to view the Official Singles Charts on any date from 1960 to the current date just by tapping in the relevant date on the screen. The SL15 Digital can be accessed through the internet for updates and maintenance. Milestones in Music Technology: The MIM package features a music library that includes every track featured in the UK Top 40 since 1952, offering a staggering selection of music from the latest hits to timeless classics.

This program is now installed in over 8,000 jukeboxes in the UK.The machine is updated fortnightly via discs that are sent through the post, or you can connect the machine to a broadband connection and have the latest chart albums uploaded to you on a weekly basis. Please note: There is a monthly fee for the MIM service of £30 per calendar month +VAT (£36), on a yearly contract basis. This will be increased to £55 + VAT for commercial locations.
