When finally moulded the finished guard is a tough polymer material with perforated inner and outer surfaces. The molded guard fits snugly against the gums. The thermoplastic material has a high tensile strength and is biocompatible, biodegradable and BPA-free.

It's easy to mould and can be re-molded unlike other guards. The night guard starts as a flat, horseshoe-shape; after immersion in 55 ̊C water, the material becomes bendable, and can be molded against the teeth until it becomes hardened. Hardening take about one minute.

Like Sisu Aero Guards SOVA Night Guard is only 1.6 mm thick adding to its comfort. Like the Sisu Aero Guards it can also be heated and remolded up to 20 times, so you can get a truely comfortable fit without destroying the guard's shape.
