The carbon steel head of this transplanting trowel is at least 50% stronger than stainless steel. It has a longer tang for ease of use, increased leverage and better knuckle clearance to prevent grazed hands. The narrow blade makes this tool ideal for transplanting, and it is marked with a depth scale.
