Once the plate is installed you can carry your camera on your hip or shoulder in comfort and maintain complete access to the cameras battery compartment.

The rubber grips and anti-twist pins of the plate ensure that your camera remains secure. The pin itself can be switched to either side of the plate which makes it useful for left- or right-handed users. The stainless-steel pin is compatible with the Pro Holster or other third party holsters that accept the pin.

A 14-20 thread is provided so you can mount the camera onto a tripod head without a quick release system or add a quick release plate for your own system. Additionally the included hex wrench can be stored on the underside of the plate when not in use.
