It is an organic black pepper (MG1 grade) currently from smallholders in Kerala, India. The black peppercorns are really dark and have a sharp bite full of those classic bold, rich and warm flavours characteristic of great peppers. Steenbergs is an artisan spice company based in rural North Yorkshire, just north of the cathedral city of Ripon.
